Does Powerwall 3 replace my existing solar inverter?
In most new installations, yes. Powerwall 3 includes an integrated solar inverter that handles both PV conversion and battery storage in one unit, which simplifies the system and typically reduces hardware cost. For homes with an existing inverter, we assess whether AC coupling is the right approach during our initial assessment.
How many Powerwalls does my home or business need?
