Will a GoodWe EV charger work with my existing solar system?
Yes - though the full benefit comes when paired with a GoodWe inverter and battery, where the charger integrates natively with SEMS+ for true solar smart charging. On non-GoodWe systems it still operates as a capable AC charger with smart meter load management. Off The Grid will assess your setup and advise the right configuration before installation.
What is the difference between the HCA and the HCA G2?
Both are AC wallbox chargers with solar smart charging and SEMS+ integration. The HCA G2 is the newer generation and adds smart phase switching - ideal for three-phase homes wanting to maximise solar utilisation. If you have three-phase supply and a larger EV battery, the G2 is the natural choice. Off The Grid can advise which model suits your site.
What warranty and support does GoodWe offer in Australia?
